Session 1: Choosing topics, finding sources, and using databases In-Person
This session will walk participants though:
- Considering criteria for research topic selection
- Identifying keywords
- Building a working bibliography
- Searching for sources using different platforms (e.g. library databases vs. Google Scholar)
After the workshop, you are invited to an optional write-on-site session from 11:30am-1:00pm. This will be dedicated time and space to write, with the ability to consult with Writing Resource and UI Libraries staff.
