POSTPONED: Filing a Provisional Patent Application In-Person / Online
Due to low registration, this event has had to be postponed. A similar virtual event is currently in the works for October and more information will be forthcoming.
Join LegalCORPS and the Patent and Trademark Resource Center (PTRC) from the Lichtenberger Engineering Library at the University of Iowa for a presentation on filing a provisional patent application with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). A patent attorney will work through the provisional patent application explaining requirements and best practices for completing the application. Bring your questions as this will be an interactive presentation. A private consultation with a patent attorney will be available following the presentation. The event is free, registration is required.
